Storm Thorgerson based a lot of his designs on amazing backgrounds to make it stand out. I used this technique to make this ad stand out. With the new Leaf by Nissan, the dashboard keeps track of "how many trees" you are growing when you drive. It then goes into a big database. I used this as my cool factor.

Green Promo: Recycling batteries since the chemicals are leaked out from batteries that aren't recycled properly can into the soil that we grow out food in and into the ocean where our seafood comes from. Scott Hansen uses a lot of texture in the background of his work so I decided to play with texture and the different filters in photoshop. And I incorporated a tree because, well, I just liked it that much!!

I chose to use hybrid cars as my topic. A lot of people know

that hybrids benefit them personally but some tend to forget

they help the environment too. I chose to keep it simple and

and not add too much nature on the car, instead I used a few

and added a very nice crisp background.
